EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVIY,i,F <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City. of <br />` <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1 8th day of August, 2003, at *30 p.m <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION loo. <br />A SOLUTION APPROVING A 7FOOT 6 INCH VARIANCE To SECTION 1004,01E <br />OF THE R05EVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1047 Bi1RKE STREET (PF3508). <br />WHEREAS, James & Man'an Dorf have requested a variance to Section 1004.01 E <br />(Exception) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a front and side porch on to <br />their home; and <br />MIEREA , the Dorf parcel is located at 1047 Burke Street and legally described as: <br />Lot 1, Block 16, Krause's Plat <br />PIN: 14-29-23-22-0021 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004. 0 1 E of the Roseville City Code establishes a predominant <br />setback for those homes with principal structure setbacks greater than the 30 foot requirement of <br />the City Code, which in the case of the Dorf home the predominant front yard setback is <br />established at 37 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the Korfs seek approval to encroach 7 feet 6 inches into the predominant <br />setback or to a point no closer that 29 feet 6 inches to the front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />l orf variance request (Section 1004.01E) on August 6, 2003, and recommended (5 -o) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated August 6, 2003. <br />NOW 'THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant ,lames <br />and Marian Korf a 7 foot 6 inch VARIANCE to Section 1004.01 E (Exception ) of the Roseville <br />City Code allowing the construction a front and side covered porch on to their home at 1047 <br />Burke Street, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The parcel being limited to an impervious coverage maximum of 3,577 square <br />feet or 35 %. <br />
