Planninti File 3508= bequest by James and Marian . orf for a variance to <br />3 Section 1004.01 A (Maximum Total Surface Area) and <br />4 (Dwelling Dimensions — Front Yard Setback) of the Roseville lle City Code <br />5 to allow the installation of a new porch on the front (south) and side (west) <br />6 of their home at 1407 Burke Avenue W. <br />7 <br />8 Chairman Jinn Mulder opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to <br />provide a verbal summary of the staff written report dated August 6, 2003. <br />to <br />Ir. Paschke indicated that Marian and ,lames Dorf, 1047 Burke Avenue, were seeping <br />12 approval of a variance to Section 1004.01 A (Maximum Total Surface Area) and <br />13 (Exception) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a porch on <br />14 to the front (south) and side (west) of their home. <br />15 <br />16 Thomas Paschke advised that based on the information provided and the findings in <br />17 Section 5 of the project report dated August 6, 2003, the Planning staff` recommends <br />18 approval of a 575 square foot (5%) variance to Section 1004.01A6 and a 7 foot 6 inch <br />19 variance to Section 1004.01 E of the Roseville City Code for Marian and ,Tames Korf to <br />o allow the construction of a front and side porch on to their horne at 1047 Burke Avenue, <br />1 subject to the following conditions: <br />22 a. The parcel being limited to an impervious coverage maximum of 3,577 <br />23 square feet or 35 %. <br />4 b. The porch addition being limited to the size indicated on the submitted <br />25 Mans, including being limited to a 7 foot 6 inch extension on the front <br />6 (south) of the home and a 5 foot 4 inch extension one the side (west) on <br />7 the home. <br />C. Gutters and downspouts must be installed along the eves of the porch to <br />9 direct runoff into the front and side yard of the parcel. <br />30 d. The review and approval of a building permit must be consistent with the <br />31 approved plans and variances, <br />3 <br />33 There were no comments from the applicant.
