EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVIT.T.F <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof} a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at :30 p.m. <br />The following members were present <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION Igo, <br />A RESOL[TTION APPROVING A 20 FOOT VARxkNCE TO SECTION 1004.01E OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1413 MYLLWOOD AVENUE (PF3503). <br />WHEREAS, Names Paal has requested a 20 foot variance to Section 1004.0 1 E <br />(Exception) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an attached garage on to the <br />front of his home; and <br />VMEREAS, the Paal residence is located at 1413 Millwood Avenue and legally <br />described as: <br />Lot 8, Block 9, Roseville Terrace Plat 4 <br />PIN: 03-29-23-24-0015 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 E of the Roseville City Code establishes a predominant <br />front yard setback for all principal structures constructed at a greatcr setback than the current <br />code requires or 30 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the Paal hone is currently set back a distance of 44 feet from the front <br />property line adjacent to Millwood Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Paal desires to construct a 20 foot by 20 foot attached garage that <br />encroached to a point 24 feet from the front yard property line: and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Cornmission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Paal variance request (Section 1004.01 E) on August G, 2003, and recommended (5 -o) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated August 6, 2003. <br />NOW WHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant James <br />Paal a 20 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01 E (Exception) of the Roseville City Code allowing <br />the construction of an attached garage to a point 24 feet from the front yard property line for �p <br />property located at 1413 Millwood Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br />
