EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVIT.T.F Pursuant to due call and notice thereof} a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at :30 p.m. The following members were present and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION Igo, A RESOL[TTION APPROVING A 20 FOOT VARxkNCE TO SECTION 1004.01E OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1413 MYLLWOOD AVENUE (PF3503). WHEREAS, Names Paal has requested a 20 foot variance to Section 1004.0 1 E (Exception) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an attached garage on to the front of his home; and VMEREAS, the Paal residence is located at 1413 Millwood Avenue and legally described as: Lot 8, Block 9, Roseville Terrace Plat 4 PIN: 03-29-23-24-0015 WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 E of the Roseville City Code establishes a predominant front yard setback for all principal structures constructed at a greatcr setback than the current code requires or 30 feet; and WHEREAS, the Paal hone is currently set back a distance of 44 feet from the front property line adjacent to Millwood Avenue; and WHEREAS, Mr. Paal desires to construct a 20 foot by 20 foot attached garage that encroached to a point 24 feet from the front yard property line: and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Cornmission held the public hearing regarding the Paal variance request (Section 1004.01 E) on August G, 2003, and recommended (5 -o) approval of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated August 6, 2003. NOW WHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant James Paal a 20 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01 E (Exception) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of an attached garage to a point 24 feet from the front yard property line for �p property located at 1413 Millwood Avenue, subject to the following conditions:
