EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVIT.T.F <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August, 2003, at 6 :30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />1 ESOLUTION O. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 20 FOOT VARIANCE To SECTION 1004,01E of <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1413 MILLWOQD AVENUE (PF3503). <br />WHEREAS, James Paal has requested a 6 inch variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dimensions — Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an <br />attached garage on to the side of the home; and <br />WHEREAS, , the Paal residence is located at 1413 Millwood Avenue and legally <br />described as: <br />Lot g, Block 9, Roseville Terrace Plat 4 <br />PIN: 03- 29 -23 -24 -0015 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires all principal <br />structures to be set back a minimum of 5 feet from a side property line in this section of <br />Roseville; and <br />WHEREAS, the existing Paal principal structure lies 7 feet 6 inches from the side yard <br />property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Paal desires to construct a3 foot attached garage addition that would <br />encroach 6 inched into the required 5 foot side yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public heating regarding the <br />Paal variance request (Section 1004.02D5) on August 6, 2003, and recommended (5 -0) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated August 6, 2003. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, OLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant James <br />Paal a 6 inch VARLkNCE to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimensions -- Side Yard Setback) of <br />the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of an attached garage to a paint 24 feet from <br />the front yard property line for property located at 1413 Millwood Avenue, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />
