Trip Overview <br />A delegation of approximately 120 leaders representing the public, private and non - profit sectors <br />will travel to Seattle to learn from that city's experience. They will meet with their counterparts and <br />discuss issues of concern. This trip is by invitation only. <br />Attendees <br />Twin Cities key leader representing the public, private and non-profit sectors. Attendees include: <br />the mayors of St. Paul and Minneapolis, local media and leaders of local business and non-profits. <br />Registration Price <br />$1b95 <br />Preli'djonary Agenda <br />At this point, we anticipate that some of the agenda will include the following topics, though a final <br />agenda will not lie completed until later this summer; <br />eating our ovwm" <br />Puget Sound Regional Council established but lacks true authority to lead <br />• Growth Management Act requires cities balance land uses and provide a predictable land <br />supply to private sector; similar to Smart Growth efforts of Met Council <br />• Possible speaker include King County Executive lion Sims, Snohomish County Executive <br />Bob Dr wel, Chamber president, Steve Leahy <br />
