City Manager's Recommendations Regarding City Use of the Proceeds from the Arona
Project and the Amount of an HftA Tax Levy
It is a spectacular first project for our H A. And it is consistent with the
principle of using Arona TIC' proceeds to support development consistent
with the City's and the H Ai's goals within the Arona TI F district.
C. Use the Aram Land Sale Proceeds for a Roseville Commu
Center.
Unlike the Arona TIF proceeds, the Arona land sale proceeds can be used
for many purposes. But an even larger- amount of money is spent over time
to operate such facilities.
The $1.3 million would be a good start at funding the operation of the
Roseville Community Center. We certainly want to price Community
Center services and activities to help pay Community Center operating
casts. But, if we dedicate the $1.3 million to assist in paying operating
costs, then during start up of the community Center when we incur
'41
