Regular City Council Minutes — 07/21/03 <br />DRAF ' Minutes - Fags 29 <br />day maximum period for outdoor storage of vehicles, <br />rather than the current thirty (30) day maximum, to read as <br />follows: <br />"No person shall cause, undertake, permit or allow <br />the outside parking and storage of vehicles in <br />residentially -zoned property for more than thirty <br />(30) days fourteen (14) days unless it complies with <br />the following requirement...; pending final review <br />and approval of language in accordance with State <br />Statute language by the City's Development <br />Attorney." <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn directed staff to review other outdoor <br />storage references in the City's current ordinance book <br />between the first and second reading of the proposed <br />ordinance; and Subdivision 2, noted the need to address <br />owned or leased vehicles. <br />Mr. Bahneman, 2656 North Lexington Avenue <br />Mr. Bahneman expressed concern with the need for the <br />City to police it's Fairview impound lot rebated to the <br />proposed ordinance to eliminate any double standards <br />Community Development Director Welsch responded that <br />the area referenced adjacent to the tower, was an essential <br />city function as far as impounded vehicles; and advised <br />Mr. Bahneman and Councilmembers that staff would <br />address the weed issue. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn directed staff, prior to the second <br />reading, to provide a definition of stored vehicles for <br />Council review and comment. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Klausing, and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: Kough., <br />D.
