A. <br />motions <br />Proclamation <br />R0% in la� <br />uZoevIlle Proci mati'80in!" <br />Judy Stuthman Day <br />July 28, 2003 <br />'whereas: the City of Roseville is committed to honoring the contributions of members of <br />our community; and <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman has donated hundreds of hours of work to the League of <br />Women Voters of Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights; and <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman has organized many cultural experiences between new <br />immigrants, students and members of the community; and <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman has volunteered for the Ramsey County Sheriffs Literacy <br />Program, Southeast Asian Ministries and Grace University Lutheran Church; and <br />F <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman makes Roseville her home and makes it a better place through <br />thousands of hours of connnunity activism# and <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman Was awarded the 2003 Hope Washburn Award for outstanding <br />service to the League of Women Voters demonstrating local and statewide Community <br />Service, Enthusiasm, and use of League principles and positions to promote the goals of the <br />League of Women Voters; and <br />Whereas: Judy Stuthman Was the chair of the two year statewide League of Women <br />Voters study on immigration and Was instrumental in getting funding to publish I � �tion <br />in Minnesota: 'hallenges and Opportunities. <br />Now, Wherefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council hereby declare Jul y 28 2003 to he <br />Judy Stuthman Day in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota U. ■ <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the SeaJ of the it y of <br />Roseville lle to be affixed this 28th day of July 2003. <br />Mayor John Iysylyczyn <br />
