Subsequent to that letter, we noticed that Section 503.02 <br />should also he amended to reflect that under the new conceal and carry law the City cannot <br />restrict the possession of handguns. <br />We understand that attempts will he made during the next legislative session to give <br />cities the authority to restrict guns on their property. When, or if, that happens Section 503.02 <br />can again he amended to reflect that change. <br />Enclosed are our recommended changes to Section 503.02 and are previous <br />recommended changes 1n ordinance fottn.
