AN ORDINANCE A IENDI1 TITLE FIVE, SECTIONS 504,01, 504e02 AND 504w05 WORKS THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: SECTION 1: Title Five, Section 504.01 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read as follows: kf 11A KI I UY Y C1Uq A. As used in this Chapter the term "fireworks" means any substance or combination of substances or article prepared for the purpose of producing a visible or an audible effect by combustion, explosion, deflagration or detonation and includes blank cartridges, toy cannons and toy canes in which explosives are used, the type of balloons which require fire underneath to propel therm, firecrackers, torpedoes, skyrockets, Roman candles, daygo bombs or other fireworks of like construction and any fireworks containing any explosive or inflammable compound, or any tablets or other device containing any explosive substance and commonly used as fireworks. B. The term "fireworks" does not include toy pistols, toy guns in which paper caps containing twenty five one - hundredths (.25) grains or less of explosive compound are used and toy pistol caps which contain less than twenty one- Hundredths (.20) grains of explosive mixture. SECTION : Title Five, Section 504.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read as follows: Except as otherwise provided in Section 504.01 no person shall offer for sale, expose f6r sale, sell at retail, use or explode, possess or allow to be possessed 'in a motor vehicle under such person's control any fireworks.
