EXTRACT OF MINUTES of MEETING of THE <br />CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF RO EVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21 st day of July, 2003, at 6 3 o p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />inuDduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION o. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 7" ! #' VARIANCE To SECTION 1004.02D5 <br />(DWELLING DIMENSIONS — FRONT YARD SETBACK) of THE RoA VIILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR LAVED FRIGAARD9 340 MAPLE LANE COURT (3495). <br />WHEREAS, David Frigaard has requested a Variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville <br />City Code to allow the construction of a front entry porch to replace an existing patio; and <br />VIBEREAS.1 the Frigaard parcel is located at 340 Maple Lane Court, legally described as: <br />Lot 4, Block 2, Tschida Owasso Hills Plat No. 2 <br />PIN: 10-29-23-13-0054 <br />IEREA , Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires a front yard <br />setback of 30 feet from a property line; and <br />IEREA , the Friga d home is currently set back 24 feet from the ftont property line <br />adjacent to Maple Lane Court, and with said addition the setback becomes 22 feet 6 inches; <br />and <br />WBEREAS, the Community Development Department reviewed the request against the <br />variance criteria stipulated in Section 101 3 of the Roseville City Code and concluded that hardships <br />were present on the Frigaard parcel to warrant support for the requested variance; and <br />VIEREA , the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing repuding the Gregg <br />variance on July 9, 2003, and recommended (5 -o) approval of the request based on findings oudined in <br />Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated July 9, 2003 4. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant David <br />Frigaard a 7 foot 6 inch VARLkNCE to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code allowing the <br />eonstrraction a front entry porch at 340 Maple Land Court, subject to the followmg conditions: <br />
