For_ the past 42 years, I have watched our park system and department evolve into what we have today. our challenge in the future is to insure that we can maintain that level of services we cVrrent ly enjoy, while keeping the costs affordable and reasonable. My business background and my previous Task Force eEperience, as well as my T desire to service the` community are the -- reasons form ayglicatFion . What is our pie %v of the role of this C 0Mmission/Committe Task Force? The first role of a commissioner is to attend meetings and to be prepared. A commissioner must be able to receive inf ormat ion from the citizens or- our community , Ro s eville ' s staff and from other commissioners. one must also be impartial and make recommenda t ions on what is best for the entire MW community.
