Please state your reasons for wanting to serve on the Commission/Committee/Task Forces (Please be as specific as possible - use additional sheet if necessary) I have mpy years of experience both as a public/non-profit ggency em to ee and as a community volunteer. I have had the opportunity to work on `big picture}' and `little picture }' types of proj ectsa I am confident that I can separate the two when dealing with public policy as it relates to City of Roseville Parks and Recreation. I am confident that I can fairly deal with both sides of any proposal that comes before the Commission particularly in these lean tines when hard choices have to be made regarding city _ services to citizens. As a member and past president of the Roseville_ Area Arts Council I have had are opportunity . to develop several prpl'ects on behalf of the City. For example, in organizing the annual Arts at the OVAL Festival of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts or the Pottery in the Garden evert I've worked with City staff and have been pleasantly s rised that they trust me with community resources! This shows that there is mutual respect between city staff and Roseville volunteers. Membership on the Parrs and Recreation Commission will help continue to foster this relationship for all current and future Roseville citizens.
