ORDINANCE NO. 1264 <br />rrY OF ROSEWLLE <br />RANI S EY COLWY, MWNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1 . CHAPTER 103 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE <br />CONCERNING CITY ELECTIONS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CRDAWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 103.01 A. of the Roseville City Code is amended to reef: <br />A. Election Date Fixed: The city general election shall be held on the first <br />Tuesday after the fit Monday in November of each even numbered gear, <br />beginning with the 2006 election. <br />SECTION 2. Section 103.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read: <br />103.02: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TERMS: <br />A . Terms: The term of office for mayor and council members shall be four (4) years <br />B. Transition Provisions: The terms of the Mayor and Councilrnernber who wilt be elected at <br />the 2003 City election shall end the first business day of January, 2007 and those offices will <br />be filled at the 2006 City election. The terra of the CouncilrnembeC elected at the 2005 <br />election with the most votes shall end on the first business day of January, 2011 and that <br />office skull be fulled at the 2010 City election, and the term of the two Cooncilmernbers <br />elected at the 2005 election with the second and third most votes shall end the first business <br />day of January, 2009 and those offices will be filled at the 2008 City election. <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 2002, by the CitY Council of the City of Roseville. <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />1:V *S <br />ATTEST: <br />Neal J.13eetst City Manager <br />John Kysylyczyn, Mayor <br />
