Executive Session M Regular City Council <br />DRAFT Minutes — Page 17 <br />I Z'? I, I rVIT <br />Ayes: Kough and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: Klausing, Maschka and Schroeder. <br />The motion failed. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn clarified staff direction that the <br />motions adopted were simply requests for additional <br />information, and no direction had been given regarding <br />specific budget decisions at this time, pending further <br />discussion, staff and public input. <br />Organizational Business Organizational <br />Business <br />Klausing moved division of the question to remove the <br />Parks and Recreation portion of the question. <br />Mayor cabled Councilmember Klausing out of order, and <br />reiterated that the motion had been seconded, by <br />Councilmember Schroeder and the question was all- <br />inclusive. <br />Councilmember Klausing responded with a verbal review <br />of Roberts Rules on division of question; and reiterated his <br />request to remove only one portion of the question, the <br />Parks and Recreation Commission appointments, and or <br />reappointments <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn recommended posing the question to <br />the body as to whether a division of the question was <br />proper. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called for a Council decision on <br />whether the division of the question was proper; asking if <br />the motion shall be divided. <br />
