Regular City Council Minutes — 4/28/03 <br />DRAM' Minutes - Page 1 <br />Roseville and the number of deviations in setbacks <br />due to original township and county zoning acts prior <br />to Roseville becoming a city; with exceptions to <br />those homes built prior to the City's incorporation. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn concurred that the decision <br />before the Council was a difficult one, but addressed <br />the duties of the City Council in making these <br />determinations., <br />Councilmember Klausing addressed the Council and <br />audience from the podium to display a proposed <br />alternative site plan in an attempt to alleviate the <br />proposed building's mass on the north side. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Bean reviewed numerous informational <br />materials in support of the project as proposed and <br />other options that they had investigated to lessen the <br />visual impact and setback issues. <br />Discussion items included other location options for <br />the garage, whether attached or detached; screening <br />options to break up the view; and the flexibility of <br />the applicants to viable solutions other than that <br />presented. <br />Mayor Kysylycz}m called for the comments from the <br />neighboring property owner and other audience <br />members. <br />Daniel Gruntner, 1768 Dunlap (directly north of <br />the variance site) <br />Mr. Grumtner provided a bench handout listing what <br />he opined were the negative and positive impacts of <br />the project for the City, Precinct 9, the Dunlap <br />
