REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 05/12/03 <br />ITEM ` M. 1B. <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section* <br />a <br />Description I pp <br />Item Presentation of Lake carron's Management plan <br />Background: Capitol legion watershed District began a process of creating a management <br />plan for Lake Mc arron's and its watersheds in late 2001. The process includes over 50 <br />individuals from stakeholder agency staff, the community and the Lake Mc arron's <br />Neighborhood Association. The resulting plan includes management goals and objectives, <br />management actions and an implementation plan to achieve those goals. The implementation <br />plan has some impact on the City of Roseville in that we will he asked to cost share m6 some <br />areas, and some of the ongoing maintenance items are the responsibility of the City. <br />Terry Noonan from the Capitol Legion Watershed District will present an overview of the <br />process of putting the plan together and its content. <br />COMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />To Council action required. <br />Prepared bar: Duane Schwartz <br />
