Over the years the City has consistently followed the actuarial computation in determining the <br />required contribution. Absent a change in Council direction, it seems prudent to continue to do <br />so. However in light of the Flan losses in each of the last three gears, the Council may wish to <br />consider a more thorough review of the City's funding policy of the Fire Relief Association. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff` recommends appropriating an additional $117,392 for the Roseville Fire Relief <br />Association. <br />Financial Considerations <br />The additional appropriation is not budgeted for. If approved, the funding would come from <br />General Fund reserves. <br />Council diction Requested <br />Motion to approve an additional City contribution to the Roseville Fire Relief Association; in the <br />amount of $117,392 from General Fund Reserves. <br />
