EXTRACT OF MINUTE5 OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2 "d day of tune, 2003, at 630 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION Igo, <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 2 FOOT" VARLkNCE To SECTION 1004,02D5 of <br />THE RO EVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1321 RYAN AVENUE (PF 3472) <br />WHEREAS, John Bentfield has requested a variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dimensions --- Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a <br />detached accessory building (garage) and driveway 3 feet from his side yard (east) property line; <br />and <br />as: <br />WHEREAS, the Bentfield parcel is located at 1321 Ryan Avenue and legally described <br />The East % of Lot 19 & all of Lot 20, Block 11, <br />Midway Hills Rearrangement of Como Garden Lots <br />PID 15-29-23-13-0043 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code rewires a minimum side <br />yard setback of 5 feet for all detached accessory buildings and driveways;; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bentfield field seeps approval to allow construction of a detached accessory <br />building and driveway 3 feet from his east (side yard) property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville lle P la ing Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Bentfield variance request (Section 1004.02D5) 5) on May 7, 2003, and recommended. (4 -o) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated May 7, 2003. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John <br />Bentfield a 2 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimensions -- Side Yard <br />setback) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of a detached accessory building <br />(garage) and driveway at 1321 Ryan Avenues subject to the following conditions: <br />6 <br />
