Regular City Coiancil Minutes — 6102/03 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 39 <br />Public Hearing regarding City Project UL- 03 -11, Street <br />Light Installation, Oakcrest Avenue to July 21, 2003. <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested that staff contact all <br />parties involved to advise them of this pending <br />assessment; and opined that the proposal was excessive in <br />the number of lights and spacing; and spoke against the <br />project. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn was not supportive of the proposal for <br />different reasons; while concurring with Councilmember <br />Schroeder's comments, Mayor Kysylyczyn was <br />supportive of consideration of a Special Service District <br />to upgrade street fights throughout the City. <br />Councilmember Schroeder concurred that the City should <br />establish a city-standard lighting plan, and enforce that <br />plan throughout the City. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstentions: Schroeder <br />Council Meeting Schedule <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn noted that the Special meetings <br />originally scheduled for later in the week had been <br />cancelled, as all business currently before the Council had <br />been concluded. <br />XIV.
