EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF R4SEVU.T.F <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 31" day of March, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION loo. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NINE FOOT VARIANCE <br />To SECTION 1004.02DS of THE ROSE LLB CI'T'Y CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2480 FARRTNGTON AVENUE (PF 3454)0 <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Boerigter has requested a variance to Section 1004.02 0 of the <br />Roseville City Code in alloy construction of an entry porch2l foot from the front property line; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Boerigter parcel is located at 2080 Farrington Avenue and legally <br />described at as: <br />Thornton 's ,subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of ection 13, Township 29, Range 23, <br />subject to Burke Avenue and excluding the South 555 feet of the <br />East 124-471100 feet o Lot 10+ <br />13- 29 -23 -12 -0045% <br />AEI EA , Section 1004.02D5- requires each residential property in Roseville to have a <br />minimum front yard setback of 30 feet from the front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter proposes to construct an entry porch that would encroach nine <br />feet into the required 30 foot setback or to a point 21 feet from the front (that property line <br />adjacent to Farrington Avenue) property line? and <br />VIEREA, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Boerigter variance request (Section 1004.02D 5) on March 5, 2003, and recommended (5 -1) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated March 5, 2003. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Daniel <br />Boerigter a nine foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code to alloy <br />construction of an entry porch 21 feet from the front property line at 2080 Farrington Avenue, <br />based on the findings in Section 5 and of the project report dated March 31, 2003 and subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />
