Please state your reasons for wanting to serve on the Commm"sionlCommittee/Task Force: (Please be as specific as possible - use additional sheet if necessary) I have many years of experience both as a public/non—profit agency employee and as a COMMUnity volunteer. I have had the opportmty opportunity to work on '"big picture" and "little icture'# t es of pr9jects. I am confident that I can se crate the two when dealing with public policy as it relates to City of Roseville Parks and recreation. I am confident that I can fairly deal with bodi sides of any proposal that wines before the Conunissio n articularly in these lean times when hard choices have to he made regarding city services to citizens. As a member and past president of the Roseville Area Arts Council I have had an opportunity to develop several prgiects on behalf of the City. For example, in orgmizing organizing the annual Arts at the OVAL Festival of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts or the Pottery in the Garden event I've worked with City staff and have been _pleasantly surprised that the trust me with community resources! Membership on the Parks and Recreation Conunission will hel continue to foster this relationship for all current and future Roseville citizens.
