A. <br />Agenda Section: <br />Consent <br />Background: The 2003 Pavement Management Program consists mainly of Mill and Overlay projects. <br />Bids were solicited during the month of March. In the case of 2003 Contract B, the lowest bidder is Tower- Asphalt, of Lakeland, <br />Minnesota. <br />Financial : we received eight bids for 2003 Contract B_ The low bid submitted by Tower <br />Asphalt, at $589,791.47, is 4% lower than the Engineer" s estimate of $615,251.39.
