<br />3.4.19 Providing .services of consultants for other than
<br />architectural. structural, mechanical and electrical enginceri ng
<br />poffiotis of the ProjecL provided as a part of Basic Services. i

<br />this Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance

<br />ARTICLE 4
<br />OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

<br />4.2 The Owlxer shall tablish and update an overall
<br />budget for the PrOiCCL based on consultation with the
<br />Cortstruc Lion Manager &nd the Architect, which shall include
<br />the construcbon Cost, the owrYees other costs and reasonable
<br />contingencies related to all of these cosis,
<br />4.3 1F requested by the Architect, the Ourner shall furnish
<br />evidence that fmaltcial arrangements have beta made to fulfill
<br />the Owner's obhg&Lic�� under his Agreement.
<br />4.4 The Owner shaft designate a representative authorized
<br />to act on Lhe Ow'ner's behalf with respect to the Prof ect. The
<br />Owner or such authorized representative shall render decisions
<br />in a timely manner pertaihing to documents subnaitted by the
<br />Architect in order to avoid unreasonable delay its Lhe orderly
<br />and sequential progress of the Arcllitect's services.
<br />�4. S The Owner shall �ret�aitt a construction manager to
<br />achninisw the PrOjecs. The Construction Manager's services,
<br />duties and responsibilities will be as described in the edition of
<br />AIA Document BSoxlC Ka, Standard Form of Agreement
<br />Between Owner and Construction Manager, current as of the
<br />date of this Agreement. The Terms and Conditions of the
<br />Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager shall be
<br />furnished to Lhe Arch itect *- than `

<br />4.6 The Owner shall furnish surveys describing physical
<br />characteristics, legal limitations acid utility locations for the site
<br />of the Project, and a written legal description of the site. The
<br />surreys and legal 1 formation shall include, as apphea ble,
<br />grades and lines of streets, alleys, paveniettts and adjoining
<br />Properly and structures- adjacent drainage; nigh Ls -of -way,
<br />res frictions, easements, encroaclunents, zoning. deed
<br />restrictions, boundaries and contours of the site-, locations,
<br />dimension and necessary data pertaining to existing buildings,
<br />other iinprovernents and trees; and infonnadon concerning
<br />available u Lility services and lines, botli public and priN12te,
<br />above and below grade, including inverts and depths. All the
<br />information on the survey shall lie referenced to a Project
<br />benchmark.
<br />4 -7 The Owner shall furnish the services of geotech n ical
<br />engirneers when such services are requested by the Architect.
<br />Such services may include but are not l nIked to Lest burings,
<br />test pi
<br />determinations of soil baring values, percolation
<br />tests evaluations of haZardous rnaserials, and ground corrosion
<br />and resistivity tests, including necessary operations for
<br />anticipating subsoil conditions, with report. and appropriate
<br />professional recommendations.
