4 55 MULTI - FAMILY COMPLEXES: ES: A dwelling unit or series of dwellin units such as an a artrnent 56 complex that does not fit the definition of Residential Dwelling in this section. 57 58 PERSON: Individuals, partnerships, corporations and ether legal entities. 60 RE C LAB LE : Materials which may be recycled or reused through recycling processes 1 including targeted recyclables. 6 63 RECYCLING CONTRACTOR: A collector or transporter of recycables. 4 65 RESIDENTIAL DWELLING: Any building containing one to four (4) dwelling units (single - family, duple triples and fourplec, and any building with units contiguous to 67 each other (townhouses) sharing no more than two (2) corm mon walls and not having. a 68 centralized refuse and recvcllng pickup location, such building to be of the row house type as 69 contrasted to multiple dwelling apartment structures. 70 TARGETED RECY LABLES: Aluminum or other metal food and beverage cans, food and 71 beverage glass containers, newsprint, corrugated cardboard, magazines, designated plastic 72 containers and other materials designated by the City Manager. (Ord. 1098, 8-12-91) 73 74 75 403.03: SCAVENGING FOR RECYCLABLE S; LICENSE: It is unlawful for any person to 76 scavenge or otherwise collect recyclables at the curb or from recyclable containers without a 77 license from the city. (Ord. 1098: 8-12-91) 78 79 403.04: LICENSE FOR RECYCLING CONTRACTOR': No person shall act as a recycling 80 contractor in the city without first obtaining the appropriate license issued by the City. Any 1 person desiring a license to collect recyclables in the city shall submit a completed license 82 application form along with the license fee and the required certificate of insurance. (Ord. 1098, 83 8-12-91) 84 8 86 403.05: REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE: 87 88 A. License Fee: Payment of the license fee as prescribed from time to time by City Council 89 resolution shall be required prior to issuance of such license. 0 91 B. Liability Insurance. Before a recycling contractor license shall be issued, the applicant 92 shall provide a certificate of liability insurance for all vehicles in at least the sum of six 3 hundred thousand dollars ($6000,000.00) for bodily injury damages and two hundred 94 thousand dollars ($200,000.00) for property damages. 5 96 C. Workers' compensation Insurance: Before a recycling contractor license shall be issued, 7 the applicant shall file with the city a certificate indicating statutory worker's 98 compensation coverage or evidence of self insured status approved by the State of Minnesota 3.
