<br />1 L,a,ke Josephine County Park, - An approximate 50, foot by 100 foot area just north, of the
<br />beach which was pilanted with native grasses and foirbs, as a demonstration project for,
<br />shoirelan+ a,tion., The burn will stimulate the native plants and eliminate non-native
<br />Reservoi I r Wood Park - Ramsey County' provii,des a,ss,lista,nce to Rosevillein management of
<br />the pira,ir'le in this, city p�ark. As we have in the p�a,st three yearIsi, Ramsey County will assist with

<br />the sipri i ng praine burns,, which are needed to resitore t'hei praine areas.,

<br />Ramsey County wIill p�rovid�e adequate equipment and trained personnel to accomplish the burns as,

<br />we have in piasit yiearis. I request that� the La,ke Josephine, and Reservoir Woods permits be valid from
<br />March 15 -1 May 15 to, provide a flex�ible sched�ule to have proper weather conditions. Although the
<br />W'oiold'vi�ew burn wi'lli be accompilis,heid in one day, the Permit should be valld for one, month frorn date
<br />of issiue., This, will allow us to burn on .a when the wind sipeed and direction is right.,
