10'.M' <br />x%vgular City Council Minut —1 /1 3/03 <br />01 <br />DRAVIrMinutes - Page 6 <br />Further discussion included the corner lot calculations, as <br />per the City's Asisessim,e�nt Policy. <br />Mayor Kysyl,yczyn clarified the isisuesi before the City <br />Council-. establishing the hearing, date and whether they <br />were in agreement with, the general philosophy that these <br />two streets needed improvement. <br />Mayor Kysyl,yczyn asked, if there was an opti on for a, 24' <br />wide street, rather than a 28' wide road. <br />Bloom, responded that if the road width were any <br />narrower than 28% as it is currently, it would rlequirie pa,rkinor <br />along one (1) side only., <br />IMayor Kysylyczyn asked staff to, provide inforn ion as to <br />'I <br />the validity and PrO9 e,cted cost savings of' a 24' wide road, <br />which would pay for, a cul-de-sac that a preferred, <br />o Public Works and F"re Departments. <br />Ms. Biloom advised that there were twenty-two (22) <br />properties 'in the reconstruction area this year. <br />Mr. Schwartz amended, the draft resolution 'Included in the <br />Council packet to indicate the 2,0103, Legal Newspaper <br />designation from the Rosevi He Review to the Pioneer Press. <br />Councilmember Schroeder cautioned staff to reinvestigate <br />the proposed harnmerhead. <br />Ms., Bloom advised that staff would do, so and provi'de <br />zdditional informati on, but staff was, attempting to keep it in <br />
