Over the years "it has served the <br />OVAL well but lilt is at the end.ofits use e and in di�re need of <br />replacement win 2003. <br />The plan� would be to trade or sell the current ice resurfacer., <br />P'O,LICY OBJECTIVE <br />-gloom <br />The proposed purchase i's requested so th�at the OVAL can maintain the high <br />quality of ice conditions that is exp ed and demanded ely,, efficient <br />navirer. <br />FliIARCIAL NPLIQATION <br />The estimated cost for the ice resurfaceris $100,000. The money i's proposed ta <br />be taiken� from the Equipment Replacement Fund and 'I's, bludgeted for in 2003. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City advertise for bids for an ice resurfacer for the <br />Roseville Skating Center/John Rose Minnesota OVAL. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion authorizing the Parks and Recreation Delpart�ment to advertise for bids for <br />W <br />an ice resu�rfacer for the Roseville Skating Center/jo'hn Rose Minnesota OVAL. <br />
