<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota was duly held on the 2nd day of December, 1985 at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Franke, Kehr, Curley, <br />Johnson, and Demos, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7837 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ELIMINATING ONE MECHANIC POSITION AND CREATING A <br />JUNIOR MECHANIC POSITION AT THE MAINTENANCE I PAY RATE UNDER <br />THE LOCAL 49 CONTRACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the laws of the State of <br />Minnesota, the City Council is required to adopt a budget and <br />establish employee compensation, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, that a mechanic position be eliminated from the <br />City's vehicle maintenance staff, and that a Junior Mechanic <br />position be created to replace the mechanic position at the <br />Maintenance I pay rate under the Local 49 contract. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />this 2nd day of December, 1985. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All present, and the <br />following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
