PETITION TO,THE ROSEIVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br />Ml <br />This is to express our strong opposition to the special use permit <br />for Patricia Curtiss to operate a beauty, salon "business out of her home <br />at 1987 Aldine and TO, PETITION THE RO EVILLE, CITY COUNCIL TO DENY APPROVAL, <br />OF SAID PERMIT <br />21,41 Such a use of private residential property is most definitely <br />NOT in Keeping with the character of our neighborhood and is a practice <br />we certainly do not want to begin to allow., <br />Commercial, traffic is encroaching on more and more residential areas <br />in Rosevi l,le and we believe that allowing such a slpecial use permit will <br />only serve to sprelad that traffic into residential neighborhoods even more <br />Our neighborhood is a quiet, peaceful little section trying to <br />maintain its privacy in an ever- expanding stela of commercialism and the <br />attendant problems of increased traffic, vandalism and crime. <br />59 'We want to keep business in the commercial zones where it belongs <br />and-out of residential neighborhoods where we came home to relax and live <br />in peace and quiet <br />In adldition, we are of the opinion that once a such a business is <br />allowed in even one home, it will have a negative effect on the property <br />values of the neighboring homes, which reduces not only our resale values <br />but the revenues for the City as well. . <br />7' Further, if one homeowner is given such a permit, we are concerned <br />that it leaves no reason for denying other such permits in the surrounding <br />area, and we could, not be more strongly opposed to that prospect <br />INE NAME ADDRESS COMMENTS <br />op <br />J2 10�, <br />Oct C-1 — 71-5.j <br />JA <br />on <br />r" <br />e <br />r <br />,. <br />ll <br />.A f <br />.
