EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 2nd day of December, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Franke, Kehr, Curley, Johnson, and Demosand the following were absent: None. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 7838 AUTHORIZING THE CONVERSION FROM A SEMI-MONTHLY PAYROLL TO A BI-WEEKLY PAYROLL WHEREAS, the City Code of the City of Roseville provides that all regular City employees shall be paid on the day set by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City currently operates with a semi-monthly payroll with paydays on the 15th and last day of each month; and WHEREAS, the City has chosen to convert its payroll processing system to one better suited to a bi-weekly payroll than a semi- monthly payroll; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville that the previous resolution establishing a semi- monthly payroll with paydays on the 15th and last day of each month be rescinded; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all regular City employees be paid on a bi-weekly basis with payday falling on every other Tuesday-- the first payday to be Tuesday, January 14, 1986. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, this 2nd day of December, 1985. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present. and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
