<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota was duly held on the 2nd day of December, 1985 at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Franke, Kehr, Curley, Johnson, and <br />Demosand the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7838 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE CONVERSION FROM A SEMI-MONTHLY PAYROLL <br />TO A BI-WEEKLY PAYROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Code of the City of Roseville provides that all <br />regular City employees shall be paid on the day set by resolution <br />of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City currently operates with a semi-monthly payroll <br />with paydays on the 15th and last day of each month; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has chosen to convert its payroll processing <br />system to one better suited to a bi-weekly payroll than a semi- <br />monthly payroll; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville that the previous resolution establishing a semi- <br />monthly payroll with paydays on the 15th and last day of each <br />month be rescinded; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all regular City employees be paid <br />on a bi-weekly basis with payday falling on every other Tuesday-- <br />the first payday to be Tuesday, January 14, 1986. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />this 2nd day of December, 1985. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Johnson and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present. <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
