EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD DECEMBER 16, 1985 * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on December 16 1985. The following members were present: Franke, Kehr, Curley, Johnson, and Demos. and the following members were absent: None. Member Franke moved its adoption. introduced the following Resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 7843 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACQUIRING PROPERTY FOR DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO MINN. STAT. SECTION 472A.Ol, ET SEQ., AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has established a development program pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section 472A.Ol, et seq.; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the City to acquire the following described lands in fee simple for the purposes of implementing that development program; WHEREAS, the City has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the City has the power to take and acquire such property by eminent domain. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby deems it necessary and convenient that the property described below be acquired by the City of Roseville in fee simple for the purpose of furthering the City's development program pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section 472A.Ol, et seq., all of said property being situated in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, to-wit:
