Approve Allina Data Use Agreement <br /> At the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Malinen summarized the request as <br /> detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) dated October 10, 2011 related <br /> to a study of various aspects of the Roseville area Public Service Area (PSA). A <br /> bench handout was distributed, attached hereto and made a part hereof, entitled, <br /> "Data Use Agreement Between the Roseville Fire Department and Allina Medical <br /> Transportation." <br /> Councilmember Willmus requested clarification on the type of data to be col- <br /> lected. <br /> City Manager Malinen, confirmed by City Attorney Mark Gaughan, advised that, <br /> as outlined in Section 3.1 of the Agreement, data collected would be limited to da- <br /> ta not protected under HIPPA and/or other data privacy stipulations. <br /> Willmus moved, Johnson seconded, authorizing the Fire Department to enter into <br /> a Data Use Agreement Allina Hospitals and Clinics ("Allina Medical Transporta- <br /> tion") <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus: Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Abstentions: McGehee. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> h.
