The Recyclable Plrogra <br />provides for the curbside pickup of materials from single famfly, d�upilexes, triplexe <br />fou�rpilexes, and town homes every other Wednesdiay. Materials collected are g�las <br />containers, food'and beverage cans, newspapers, plastic boiftlesi with necks, corrugate <br />cardboard, magazines, telephone directories, mixed mail, and un�coateld cardboard. <br />The curbiside collection was, last bid in 1994, with Super Cycle, inc. being awarded the <br />contract which expires December 311 1 1997. The cost pier household was $2.14 in 1995 <br />and $12.10 in 19,96 and 1997'. <br />Because of the volatility of the recyclable market, (see table below), the receipt by the City <br />of one-third of the revenues, from the sale of the recyclables has been removed from the <br />specifications for curbside collection in 1919�8 and 19919. <br />41 =I- <br />
