June 9 jol <br />j =10 <br />19 9 <br />9 <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM ovi Steve Sarkozy <br />S1fBJEC'T:*- JOIC ROSE XIINNESOTA OVAL P,RELIXINARY SITE FEASIBILITY <br />STU'DY <br />At the Council meeting of May 26, 19921, the City Council approved <br />if <br />a contract with Independent Consulting, Engineers,, Inc,, (I.C.E..) <br />for a site feasibility study, Brad Lemberg, President, and his <br />associate Jack Vivian,, will be prepared to provide the City <br />0 1 <br />,Council, with some of their preliminary findings on this report, <br />9 <br />The consultant 'is splec if 11cally investiaating the feasibil ity and <br />cost, of locating the speed skating oval at either the City Hall <br />site (w,est or north of the existing Ice Arena), or on the Ramsey <br />County owned property, (at the northeast quadrant of the inter- <br />siect,ioln of Laripe,nteur and Kent Street) No other s mites have been <br />found to be feasible for this facility at this time. <br />11 <br />it 'is also proposed that the City Coun,c Oil cons i'der a prel iminary <br />timetable for some of the key dec is 111 ons to be made by the City <br />Council.
