EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * It . . . . Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the fourteenth day of April, 1986, at 1:00 o'Clock_p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Demos. and the following were absent: None. Johnson Member ".., introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7882 RESOLUTION REQUESTING MnDOT TO RELEASE ITS INTEREST IN THE EAST FRONTAGE ROAD OF I-35W KNOWN AS RAYMOND AVENUE AND COUNTY ROAD C-2. WHEREAS, as part of its construction of I-35W, the Minnesota Department of Transportation many years ago obtained interests in portions of Raymond Avenue and County Road C-2 immediately east of I-35W; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville requests that MnDOT release its interest in this portion of Raymond Avenue and County Road C-2 to the jurisdiction of the City of Roseville as soon as feasible; and WHEREAS, it is recognized that this release will not be eligible for turnbaclc funds, as the City of Roseville desires to work with private developers in this area to supply other means of access to these properties; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville hereby requests MnDOT to release its interest in the east Frontage Road of I-35W over portions of County Road C-2and Raymond Avenue identified as state project S.P. 6284 <35=394) '901; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city requests the jurisdiction be turned back. to the City of Roseville as soon as feasible; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city recognizes that this release will not be eligible for state turnback funds.
