<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD APRIL 28 1986 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice hereof, a regular meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the City Hall on the ?Rrn day of April <br />1986. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, <br /> <br />and Johnson. <br />and the following members were absent: Demos. <br /> <br />Council Member Kehr introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7890 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF A HAZARDOUS CONDITION BY <br />RAZING AND REMOVAL OF A HAZARDOUS BUILDING. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Roseville finds the <br />building located at 3051 North Fairview Avenue to be a hazardous <br />building within the meaning of Minnesota Statute 463.15 because <br />it is inadequately maintained, dilapidated, physically damaged, <br />unsanitary, abandoned, and constituting a fire hazard to public <br />safety and health,as is more specifically set forth in the <br />Building Inspector's Report dated April 11, 1986, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it <br />to be in the public interest to order the property owner to raze <br />and remove the hazardous building and upon the failure of the <br />property owner to comply with said order, and pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statute Chapter 463, raze and remove the hazardous <br />building itself and assess the property for the cost of same. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor, City Manager, and City Attorney are <br />instructed to take appropriate action to cause the owner of the <br />property located at 3051 North Fairview Avenue to raze and remove <br />the building located on such property or raze and remove the <br />building at the City's cost, and thereafter assessing the <br />property for the cost of same. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Council Member Matson, <br />and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. <br />
