NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The aforesaid petition is signed by the owners of all pro- perty affected by said requested improvement in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.031, Subd. 3. 2. Said improvement is feasible and is hereby ordered as proposed in the report of the City Public Works Director. 3. The City Public Works Director is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement and shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 4. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 5. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Improvement No. p-85-20A shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until 11:00 o'clock a.m. on May 13, 1986, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City Public Works Director, will be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council, and shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accom- panied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manger for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Matson and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. -2-
