7. The interior of the game room will be free of <br />obstructions to visual supervision by attendants and will be <br />adequately lighted. <br />8. Game room management will take all reasonable action to <br />expel intoxicated persons and will allow no disorderly <br />conduct on the premises, parking areas and adjacent <br />sidewalks. <br />9. Adult suprvision to ensure that the health, safety, <br />welfare and existing community standards of peace and quiet <br />are maintained. At the Police Chief's discretion, <br />additional supervisory and /or security personnel may be <br />required. <br />10. If the game room is to be located in a shopping center, <br />the owner of the shopping center shall provide a security <br />plan and may be rquired to provide additional security in <br />the parking and other public areas of the shopping center, <br />at the discretion of the Chief of Police. <br />Section 109.040. Additional Regulations. <br />Maintaining and operating an amusement device in a business <br />establishment is prohibited, except <br />1. Up to four (4) licensed amusement devices may be <br />maintained and operated in any business establishment in the <br />city. <br />2. Game rooms may maintain and operate in excess of four <br />(4) amusement devices between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and <br />10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; and between the hours <br />of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, Friday and Saturday. <br />3. Business establishments, other than game rooms, may <br />maintain and operate in excess of four (4) licensed <br />amusement devices only upon the issuance of a permit by the <br />City Council, which permit may be denied by the City Council <br />in its sole discretion, and which may contain conditions <br />such as a limitation on the number, type and hours of <br />operation of the amusement devices. <br />III. <br />THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after its passage and publication. <br />7 <br />
