<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 14th day of October, <br />1996, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, and Wall, and <br />the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9347 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING 1997 SCORE FUNDING GRANT <br />FOR USE IN ROSEVILLE'S RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council is committed to residential waste abatement through <br />its curbside recycling program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to improve Roseville's curbside recycling program and minimize the <br />cost to Roseville residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey has SCORE Funding Grants available for 1997; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to submit a <br />grant application to the County of Ramsey for a 1997 SCORE Funding Grant for use in <br />Roseville's residential recycling program. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Goedeke, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Goedeke, Maschka, Wi ski, Mastel, and Wall, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
