<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the <br />fourteenth day of July, 1986, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Johnson, Matson, Kehr, Cushman, and Demos, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />Kehr <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7946 <br /> <br />OPTICOM AT SNELLING AVENUE AND COUNTY ROAD C <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been concluded that it is desirable to replace the existing <br />traffic signal at Trunk Highway 51 (Snelling Avenue) and County Aid Highway 23 <br />(County Road C); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to have emergency preemptive devices <br />(opticom) installed as part of that signal modification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to have an agreement between the Minnesota Department <br />of Transportation, Ramsey County, and the City of Roseville to undertake said <br />work and establish areas of responsibilities; <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville enters into an agreement <br />with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation for the removal and <br />replacement of existing traffic signals including the installation of emergency <br />preemptive devices at Trunk Highway No. 51 and County State Aid Road No. 23 in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement <br />No. 63503; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the mayor and city manager are hereby <br />authorized to execute such agreement in behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, this <br />14th day of July, 1986. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />me~ber Matson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Johnson, Matson, Kehr, Cushman, and Demos, and the following <br />voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
