What is your view of the role of this Commis,s,ion/ Board?: Since middle school and high school
<br />are such defining periods, for individuals,' futures,, it is critical that students, feel safe
<br />and comfortable at s,chool. A youth Human Rights, Commissioner should s,erve as a liaison
<br />between community youth and the Human Rights, Commis,s,ion, making sure that youth in the area
<br />are properly represented and cared for.
<br />Any further information you would like the City Council to consider or that you feel is
<br />relevant to the appointment or reappointment you are seeking .: I have lots, of leadership and
<br />volunteer experience that I have taken on over the past few years,. I have twice been elected
<br />captain of the high school swim and dive team, and once for the lacrosse team. I have been
<br />the Senior Patrol Leader in my Boy Scout troop for three years,, and recently built a rain
<br />garden for my church as my Eagle Scout Project. I am involved in three varsity sports, two
<br />extracurricular music ensembles, five service organization, and I maintain a 3.9 GPA with a
<br />rigorous, s,chedule. I am fully prepared and eager to further benefit my community by searing
<br />on this board.
