<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the fourteenth day of <br />October, 1996, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel, and Wall, and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilperson Wiski introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9350 <br /> <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY <br />REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT ST-96-14 <br />TWIN LAKES REGIONAL POND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the storm water ponding needs for an area in the City <br />referred to as Twin Lakes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a regional stormwater ponding facility in the City of <br />Roseville by one or more of the following installations: pond excavation, storm sewer, and <br />necessary appurtenances; and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost to <br />the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 429.011 to 429.111; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rose vi lie as follows: <br /> <br />1. The regional pond construction is hereby approved for inclusion in the City's 1997 <br />construction program. <br /> <br />2. The proposed improvements are referred to the City's Public Works Director for study, and <br />he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether they should best be made as proposed or connection with <br />some other improvements and the estimated costs of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />3. The City hire the firm ofBRW, Inc. to prepare the feasibility study at a cost not to exceed <br />$5,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson <br />Maste] and on vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Maschka, <br />Wiski, Mastel, and Wal!, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
