Roseville Area Arts Council <br />• United th�e arts end th�e environment to champion an outdoor expenence for th�e <br />visually im aired, as well as the sighted. In four short years Ms., Wolfan�gle <br />rallied project advocates, solicited funds from local foundations an�d arts <br />organizations, commissioned an artist to create four tactile sculptures, installed <br />the public art pieces, created sensory gardens an�d hosted a community <br />celebration recognizing the work of many for the enjoyment of all., <br />• At least 500 h�ours <br />• The sensory sculptures an�d gardens at the Roseville Central Park Muriel Sah�lin <br />Arboretum has brought easy accessibility to arts an�d nature, has united the <br />energies of local community advocates an�d has enhanced a highly regarded <br />community amenity. <br />4. Roseville Central Park Foundation <br />• As a lon�g standing board member Ms. Wolfan�gle has connected the Roseville <br />Central Park Foundation with other Friends Groups an�d Community <br />organizations to strengthen an�d enhance the quality of life in Roseville, <br />Minnesota. She has supported collaborations an�d partnerships on events, <br />projects an�d com�m�un�ication�s. Betty has served as board secretary for 12 years., <br />• At least 1500 h�ours <br />• United the energies of local community advocates to enhance highly regarded <br />community amenities. <br />Roseville Harriett Alexan�der Nature Center <br />• The Nature Center is where Ms., Wolfan�gle's true passion lies., <br />• She was instrumental in the building of the facility; she rallied the community for <br />support of a nature based facility an�d worked with City staff to bring HANG to a <br />reality., Ms. Wolfan�gle has given thousands of hours to FRANC volunteering at <br />events, supervisin�g the facility, advocating for its continued existence, <br />replacing the boardwalk., <br />• Over the 20 plus years of existence Ms., Wolfan�gle has volunteered more hours <br />to the Harriet Alexan�der nature Center than I can confidently approximate. <br />• When budget reductions were discussed five years ago, the Nature Center was <br />being seriously con�sidered for a reduction in service hours or even total <br />elimination. Ms.,Wolfan�gle was instrumental in demonstrating to the Roseville <br />City ouncil thie value an�d beniefits of having an enivironimienit based learning <br />facility in our com�m�un�ity. <br />Friends of Roseville Harriet Alexan�der Nature Center <br />• FORHANC is a local nonprofit that supports the operation of the Harriet <br />Alexan�der Nature Center. Ms., Wolfangle has served as secretary, vice chair <br />an�d chair of the board., <br />• 2500 hours of service to FORHANC ben�efittin�g the Harriet Alexander Nature <br />Center. <br />• Providing the community with a historical perspective for the Nature Center. <br />organizations an�d tasks outside of the City of Roseville include: <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
