<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 21 s,t day of April, 2008, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.
<br />The following members, were present-. and the following were absent-.
<br />Council member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br />FOR 2008 CONTRACT B
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids, for the improvement, according to the plans, and
<br />specifications, thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids, were received on
<br />Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at I 1 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids,

<br />WHEREAS, it appears, that Midwest Asphalt Corporation, of Hopkins,, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible
<br />bidder at the tabulated price of $1,1.73,563.1' , and
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota-.
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Midwest
<br />Asphalt Corporation, of Hopkins,, Minnesota for $1,173,563. 19 in the name of the City of Roseville
<br />for the above improvements, according to the plans, and specifications, thereof heretofore approved by
<br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer.
<br />2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders, the deposits,
<br />made with their bids, except the deposits, of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
<br />retained until contracts, have been signed.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota-.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was, duly seconded by and upon vote being
<br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor and the following voted against the same-. 9
<br />Whereupon said resolution was, declared duly passed and adopted.
