FR-
From: Pat Truedgeon
Sent: Friiday, April 18, 2008 8:20 AM
To: Bryw Lloyd
Subject: FW: Cava naui gh/Pawn Shoop Permmiit
- - - -- Original Messag
From: Peg Cavanaugh
Sent: Thursday,, Agri
To: *RV Council
Subject: Cavanaugh 'Pawn Shop Permit
Dear Members of the Roseville City Council,
It has come to my attention that you will be voting on a pawn shop permit on April
,21st. I live in the neighborhood where Cash N Pawn wants to set up shop and I can tell
you that this area is absolutely inappropriate for a pawn shop. Snelling Avenue and
County Road B may look like a completely commercial corner at first glance, but right
behind those businesses is quiet, safe, kid-friendly neighborhood.
Allowing a pawn shop to open up in our area will invite property
crime. Please don't vote to change our neighborhood like that.
Your decision will make a big impact on my family, my neighbors, Evergreen Park, Brimhall
Elementary School, and other local
businesses. PLEASE VOTE NO on April 21st to a pawn shop permit at
,2181 Snelling Avenue.
Sincerely, Margaret S. Cavanaugh
W
