Mr. Paschke. <br />I just received a notice that the Roseville Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />of a pawn shop to be located next to FedEx Kinko's. To say the least, I am appalled. <br />I really don't know what the Commission was thinking, but this is not the type of business <br />I would like to have in Roseville. A Pawn Shop does not fit in with Roseville's solid <br />image. I can only foresee problems: crime (don't we have enough at Rosedale??, more <br />traffic in an already congested intersection and people of undesireable repute coming to <br />our city. If people want a deal, they can go to Goodwill or Unique. There are thousands <br />of reputable businesses that could go in that building. Why don't you try to contact some <br />of them instead? <br />I strongly reject this recommendation as I don't feel this decision was made public <br />knowledge. I would highly doubt many Roseville residents would approve either.
