Additional information: <br />All pawn shops in the State of Minnesota are req�uired� to report all transactions to the <br />local police on a d�aily basis. This is d�one by send�ing an electronic file containing <br />certain req ed ation (serial numbe descriptions., valid state issued photo <br />ID., etc.) to the police using the APS (automated pawn system). The APS was created <br />by the City of Minneapolis and more d�etail is available a) <br />http://www.govtogovsolutions.o[g <br />Many people express concern that pawn shops provide an outlet for stolen <br />merchandise. H�owever., police confiscations nationally run at less than 1.0% of <br />transactions and confiscations in our stores eq�ualed� only 0.41% of all transactions in <br />calendar 2007. <br />NOTE: We have a company policy against pornography and the Roseville store will <br />not provide check cashing or do transactions involving guns. Store hours will be <br />consistent with our mall neighbors and are contemplated to be 10-7 weekdays, 10-6 <br />Saturday, and 12-6 Sunday. <br />What we are asking for is a conditional use permit to operate a pawn shop at this location. <br />Please and erstand that our license and our use permit are revocable and subject to annual <br />review. The bar for compliance is high and under constant monitoring by city police.
