Department Approval <br />MEQUEST FOR, COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 5/12/08 <br />It No.: 7.e <br />Acting City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Adopt a Revised 2008 Fee Schedule <br />1� BACKGROUND <br />2 On December 3, 2007 the City Council adopted the 2008 Fee Schedule which set forth the fees and charges <br />3 for service for the City's regulatory functions. <br />4111 <br />5 In recent discussions regarding the City's use of administrative tickets, the City Attorney has suggested that <br />6 the City add the various categories and amounts to the City's annual Fee Schedule. In addition, with the <br />7 Council's recent decision to add a rental registration fee, Staff suggests that this fee be added to the Fee <br />8 Schedule as well. <br />1 A revised 2008 Fee Schedule is attached with the suggested changes. <br />1� 1 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />1� 2 The presence of a fee schedule allows regulatory-type fees to be easily identified in one document, as <br />1 opposed to being scattered throughout City Code.
