However,, due to <br />environmental and liability concerns! many of the model fire <br />codes (including the 1988 MN Uniform Fire Code) are now allowing <br />41 a <br />above ground storage and, dispensing from tanks of 6,000 gallons <br />or less capacity. <br />W I ithin the past, year, 'Twin City Freight has removed their <br />underground tiank,s and now wishes to have above ground storage and <br />oens ing The variance concerns their desire to utilize a <br />Ift <br />10,000 g'allo�n above ground tank, which is in excess of the 6,000 <br />gallon, tank which the code allows. <br />The site, in quiestion is located just north of Col., Rd. B2 on the <br />east side of Long Lake Road. The owner of Twin City FreightF <br />Bill Elsholtiz has a,dviseid that the additional quantity of storage <br />should be considered because of sihipping and loading factors., <br />I <br />The owner indicates that he intends to comply with all of the <br />other requ,ireme,ntis for this insitiallation,, <br />
